Description
Summary:碩士 === 開南大學 === 空運管理學系 === 97 === Since 4 July 1987, Taiwan began allowing citizens to visit relatives in mainland China, it also open economic trade activities across Taiwan Strait. As talks and interact organizations were established, economic trade activity increase ever since. In 1993, Koo-Wang talks made the first agreement and developed new relationship between Taiwan Strait. However, due to official policies, economic development has been procrastinated during 1996 to 2007. The new government restarted talks, and at 4 July 2008 the government normalized Cross-Straits weekend charter flight. This reduces freight transport time and cost. However, national airliners should use this opportunity to adopt suitable airplane for this market. This study discusses the national airline’s airplane existing circumstances and development, then work out a suitable airplane assessment model in order to make the most profit. This study uses national airliners’ major aircraft types, such as B747-400、B777-300、B737-800、A321、A330、A340 to discuss the cost of ticket, depreciation, maintenance, fuel consumption, pilot salary, flight attendance salary, airport fee, air route service charge to work out a suitable airplane assessment model, then input associated data into LINGO which makes the B747-400 the best airplane in the cross-strait airline market. Besides, the sensitivity analysis shows the average load rate dropped 40%, Airliners that converted to B737-800 will be able to reduce deficiency or make more profits. This research could be referred to find the suitable airplane in the wake of airplane depreciation and fuel cost.
