Although today's LED luminous angle and the brightness there is a substantial improvement, but smaller sizes of LED chips which can be seen as a tiny point of light source. As the pupils enlarge in the dark during the traffic lamp changing its symbol, the absence of any uniformity process will lead the passerby in danger. In this study, we re-combine the basic units of high-brightness LED, Fresnel lens and Lenslet lampshade to form a high uniformity of traffic lamps. In this study, optical simulation software TracePro™ is used to simulate and assess LED traffic lamps, the study includes the projection to the containing regions of surface, the display of uniformity analysis and different conditions such as the Fresnel lens, Lenslet and Light-emitting surface of LED placement and so the effect. The research is carried out by analyzing the different parameters experiment to optimize the LED signal lamp of uniformity. As the result, the comparison between uniform traffic lamps and traditional LED traffic lights on the same plane, uniform traffic lamps have better projection of the projected area. Luminescence at the ± 30 ° angle with the strongest light intensity value remains above 30% of it; whereas the light intensity value on same position of the traditional LED traffic lights is less than 5%.
