In this study, a production processing let CNTs becoming as a sheet-like paper (bucky paper, BP) are developed, include the dispersing and the filtrating system. After some experiments, during filtrating process with peristaltic pump, we found that BP gets bad mechanical properties because of the resonance effect between suspension pipe and pump. Therefore, we improve that with a method of vacuum suction. It’s valid to restrain the crack come into existence and to release the stress on the surface. Besides, according to the results, the key parameter affects the mechanical property in processing are the length of CNTs, power and time of action of ultrasonic dispersion. Then, all efforts are focus on these three by the guidance of design of experiment (DOE) to discuss the mechanical properties of BP. It show that the length of CNTs is the critical key for BP stressed. There are two ways to drive the electric property of BP, one is four-probe test, and the other is Hall Effect method. All them result that the length of CNTs also play a decisive role to determine the resistively of BP. For example, the average length of 20 μm make the resistively ranging within 2.3*10-2-3.3*10-2 Ω.cm, and 8μm get a value of 1.1*10-1 Ω.cm. According to the theory of Solid State, BP is a semi-metal material. The evidence show that it will be great choice of applications for antenna、fuel cell、high capacitor and display.
