By adding concentrated sulfuric acid in the SPEEK and curing individually for 24、48、72 and 96 hours, different degree of sulfonation can be obtained. Titration ethod is then adoped to measure the degree of sulfonatio. And ontodifferent polymer membranes the proton conduction, scanning electron microscope and thermo gravimetric analyzing, water uptake and swelling ratio were measured and the results wear compared. In this experiment, we discovered SPEEK membrane fabricated by above mentioned method has better thermo stabilitility. And the membranes use DMAc as dissolvent electrolyte membrance, the resistance is lower of sulfonation for 48h. then add PWA 35%, 50% and 70% in the SPEEK, which discovered the SPEEK/PWA membrane of resistance largely decrease. Forthermore add PWA of 35% has the best resistance.In the methanol crossover research, we discovered it is the lowest methanol crossover of pure SPEEK membrane in the 2M methanol .
