This study used a correlational statistical approach to study the relationships. Therefore, a quantitative correlational design can be considered an effective method for analyzing data and understanding relationships. As the result, a total 328 out of 429 effective surveys were collected from yoga classes in Activity Center and Educational Center with a response rate of 76.46%. This finding, among others, suggests that first, the dimensions of leisure motivation at yoga participants' scores from high to low are as "health condition", "physiological relaxation", "life learning" and "social interaction". The dimensions of enduring involvement at yoga participants' scores from high to low are as "attraction", "self-confidence", "centrality", "social connection" and "self-expression". The dimensions of benefits of leisure at yoga participants' scores from high to low are as "physiological benefit", "psychological benefit" and "social benefit". Second, the demographic factors (i.e., gender, age, education level, and marital status) of yoga participants have significantly difference to leisure motivation, enduring involvement and benefits of leisure. Third, leisure motivation has positive impacts on enduring involvement of yoga participants. Moreover, the author found the "social interaction" has the best predictive capability among the four dimensions of leisure motivation. Fourth, yoga participants' enduring involvement has significant impacts upon benefits of leisure. The result also showed "attraction" has the best predictive capability among the five dimensions of enduring involvement. Yen-Nien Hsu 許延年 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 96 zh-TW
