Therefore, it is hoped that this study could find out the meaning beyond the religious folklore activities and provide some suggestions for the relative authorities. Religious folklore activities are part of local culture. They can promote the local culture ascend its level. Presently, except for the ”Peikang Mazu” worship in Peikang village, it’s immediate urge to stabalize the resource of religious tourism. According to years of field visiting and observation, although the “Peikang Mazu Holy Pilgrimage” is a annual great event and it has attracted tens of thousands of travelers; however, besides all the hassle and bustle, the connotation of culture transmitting is gradually losing. Though some advocates are actively protecting this religious folklore activity, the diverse opinions will eventually deconcentrate public strength and fail to demonstrate physical achievement.
