But since Taiwan’s hinterland is limited, the local cuisines of many places are often duplicate. Therefore, how to enhance the uniqueness and localness of them has become an important topic. As the consume market changes so much these days, the features of the market selling has increased from 4P(including product、price、place and promotion)to 5P(including package), and “package” is one main force. If the package design can be more specially, it will promote the product selling. However, the packages of Taiwan local cuisines nowadays seem almost the same, no matter the appearances or shapes, so that many people still think they are conventional and out-of-date. If we blend some humor, interest and fondness of the consumers into the package design, it will encourage development of the local cuisines. This study is aiming at Damshui area, trying to understand local culture, artificial scenery and local cuisines via the documents, and conferring the technique of the internal and external successful package design. Then analyzing the relationship between consumer habits and products via the web questionnaires and combining all of them into the creative works. Hoping this study could offer a reference to the proprietors and other package designers.
