| Summary: | 碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 應用日語學系碩士班 === 97 === In recent years, globalization has become the economic trend of the world. In order to comply with this trend, the Japanese begin to carry out the international division and to invest all around the world. Because of the rising production cost, many Japanese enterprises go overseas to look for other production sites. In 1952, Taiwan attracted most Japanese enterprises for investing because the production cost was lower. Recently, however, due to the increase of the Chinese’s income and the expansion of consumer market, China has become the new production site all of a sudden. On the other hand, after 1980s, the production cost raised and the personnel expenditure increased in Taiwan so the cooperative enterprises of Japan and Taiwan cannot but move their factories to China. Also, it is excellent that Taiwan has good geographical location in Southeast Asia for Japanese enterprises. Because they can extend the production line to Southeast Asia more easily and cooperate with Taiwan enterprises. All the above statement is based on the cooperation of Japanese enterprises with Taiwanese local enterprises in Taiwan, China, and Southeast Asia, which carries on several overseas strategies such as international division and foreign investment. Yet, so far, related studies about the chain relation and model of their alliance remains inadequate. Therefore, this thesis aims to provide a research about Japanese and Taiwanese cooperation details with regard to IT Industry in Taiwan, China, and Southeast Asia.
