Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 化學工程學系所 === 97 === This study is focused on how materials affect cell behavior and what signal transduction pathways are turned on when endothelial cells are grown on poly(ester)urethane (PSU)-Au/Ag nanocomposites. The activation of proteins and genes were analyzed by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR). It was found that PSU-Au 43.5 ppm and PSU-Ag 30 ppm enhanced the proliferation and lamellipodia formation of endothelial cells. PSU-Au appeared to influence cell behavior by activation of valosin-containing protein (VCP) and the downstream molecule endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS). On the other hand, PSU-Ag seemed to influence cell behavior via a different pathway.
