One is the reduction of library funds, making the library unable to purchase resources that users need. Additionally, the library faces different users'' habits of library use. Thus, a library must continually evaluate electronic resource products with each passing day. Finally, the library is also in an e-learning era, which the librarian must support teaching and studying. This can be critical when academic faculty and librarians work in collaboration with teaching material which utilizes library resources. The librarian should investigate users'' real demand, and then offer the resources and services according to those demands. The purpose of this study was to explore the information behavior of university faculty in their usage of library electronic resources for teaching. Data was collected from faculty of Feng Chia University. The questionnaire and telephone interview were developed by the research. The major findings were as follows: (1) A primary reason faculty use research databases as electronic resources most frequently is for giving lessons, for course planning, and for teaching material preparation. Teachers pay special attention to the authoritive content contained in electronic resources and utilize the database when they need it. (2) Teachers respect that electronic resources can be integrated into curriculum needs and list as course reference materials, the content and scope of library electronic collections. The suggestions and expectations of teachers are that librarians assist teachers to collect the relevant themes materials, as well as purchase library electronic resources, contend with resources popularization, and deal with copyright of resources. (3) Teachers of different colleges, the experience of directing graduate students, utilizing library resources to make digital material, and offering distance teaching which have differences of information demand of electronic resources of the library. Finally, the researcher offered four suggestions.
