During the process of economic transformation in China, the Multinational Enterprises came into China and played an important role in it. The Multinational Enterprises has long been regarded as the symbol of capitalism in western world by Mao era, but it urged to participate in the economic revolution in China today. In a research report published by China’s Foreign Economic and Trade Department, it pointed out that 90’ of thee 21 century would be the prime age of Multinational Enterprises. The multinational enterprises with high level, high technology and enormous production, investment and trade activities would be carried out in China. The globalization of economy and industries activities, China should actively seize the opportunities to enter the international production channel, in order to take advantage of the financial, technical…resources from multinational enterprises to make itself strong and flourish. In this research report, it emphasized the crucial role of multinational enterprises in the development and success of China’s economic reform. Encountering the serious competition of economic environment, the enterprises of all the countries managed to arrange the investment layout for the new economic market to search for the maximum profit. Meanwhile, China has possessed the profound domestic market, enormous low-cost laborers as well as its trade liberalization after joining into WTO in 2001, so as the market in China became the most excellent investment location. Taiwanese and Japanese firms considered the same cheap Chinese labor, raw materials and large domestic market, there were still some similarities and differences between their investment strategies in China. This research was to do the comparison, analysis of these points by the collecting of related data and charts for the purpose to present it as the reference of further research.
