Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立勤益科技大學 === 化工與材料工程系 === 97 === Biodegradable nanocomposites are prepared by adding carbon nanotubes using melt-blending method and the impact to biodegradable composites by adding carbon nanotubes is investigated in this paper. Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) are selected to fill in biodegradable plastic – polylactic acid (PLA).The incompatibility of the surface of carbon nanotubes between organic phase and inorganic phase can be further improved by chemical modification. SWCNT was first purified using a microwave reactor and then reactor with an oxidant to product carboxylic acid, carbonyl groups and hydroxyl groups on the surface of SWCNT. 3-isocyanato-propyltrieth oxysilane (IPTES) is used to modify their property and produce functionalization. Nanocomposites are prepared to study their impact to PLA. The results from TMA show that after adding functionalized carbon nanotubes, the coefficient of thermal expansion can be reduced to 114.9 ppm/℃ from 124.8 ppm/℃ and the dimensional stability increased by a factor of about 72;the overall rigidity and the thermal stability improves significantly as well;the surface resistivity of materials with pure PLA and SCNT decrease from 1×1016 Ω/cm2 to 2.22×104 Ω/cm2。
