Similarly, safety is always the most serious problem to every inter-city passenger transporting company. In order to establish an inter-city passenger transporting company’s imaginations and operating effects, it needs to provide many service events as well as to carry passengers arriving at their destinations safely and on time. Therefore, it is essential to increase the driving safety effects of inter-city passenger transporting company. Due to the development in Advanced Public Transportation Systems (APTS), the government introduces and accepts the idea of e-bus system. The major purpose of this research is to evaluate the improvement of driving safety effects when an inter-city transporting company adopts the new advanced public transportation systems. This research used Data Envelopment Analysis to evaluate the safety effects of an inter-city transporting company. Several data sets were chosen for modeling. The results showed that every unsafe driving behavior that monitored by the advanced public transportation systems was adjusted except accidents and malfunction. In addition, this research also aimed to evaluate the improvement of the driving safety effects, and proposed some relatively effective data for the government and inter-city transporting companies.
