Controller Area Network (CAN)-based data bus technology has presented its function capability for such applications. With the development of electronic technology, the microcontroller becomes the important core in control and monitor. This thesis implements CAN-based avionics system with above technology and conception. This thesis presents a prototype fabrication and verification for digital avionics for small aircraft systems; the experiment searches the application that microcontroller has union of data bus. The experiment establishes the dispersed monitor system by using C8051F060 microcontroller which integrates CAN bus. The avionics system has advantage of low cost, simple electronic wire and small volume. The electronic board with C8051F060 is to be the node, and which node can connect real sensor or simulate signal source. Pilot can know the information of location and airplane situation via electronic flight instrument system (EFIS).
