碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 都市計劃學系碩博士班 === 97 === Taiwan high-speed rail (HSR) started to serve on 2007. It had been increasing transport accessibility along the western corridor of the island. It also could provide convenient services and make the travel time shorter. It also may improve the strength of land-use around HSR station and increasing the land price. In this study, we proposed that HSR may promote people to use HSR as commuting mode in between cities, and the housing price around the HSR station would be arising. I will discuss the influence of construction of HSR on metropolitan area housing prices by the hedonic price model and set up the regression patterns. I choose the Taoyuan Jhongli, Hsinchu, Taichung Changhua, Chiayi and Tainan metropolitan areas as study area. We expect the construction of HSR may have positive effect on housing price. The data came from “ Dept of Land Administration,M.O.I.＂including four quarters in 2007, the observations are 1757.
