Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 電機工程學系碩博士班 === 97 === In this thesis, a single-switch cascoded forward converter is developed. This converter is composed of Buck-boost and forward converter, so it can achieve high step-up voltage gain and transfer magnetizing energy of forward converter to load. First, we introduce various kinds of cascaded converters and describe benefits and drawbacks of them. Then we analyze the operating principle and design considerations of proposed converter, and derive small-signal model for designing feedback compensation network. Finally, a prototype circuit with input voltage 24 V and output 48 V/ 144 W is implemented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed circuit. Experimental results shows that the best efficiency of this proposed converter is 93 %.
