Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 輔導與諮商研究所 === 97 === The main purpose of this study was to explore an internship counselor’s experiences in his growth, finding characteristics of the sandtray supervision, and changes of self-efficacy in counseling after receiving the sandtray supervision. The researcher recruited an internship counselor as a research participant through the purposive sampling. The internship counselor received 12 times of the sandtray supervision. The sandtray supervision took two hours each time. The method of case study was applied in this research. The researcher analyzed the data of 12 supervision transcripts and the internship counselor’s works of sandtray. The findings of this research were as follows: First, the internship counselor's growth experiences could be divided into the professional growth and self-growth. The professional growth experiences included the learning in counseling theories, counseling techniques, counseling attitudes, and counseling ethics. In addition, the self-growth experiences consisted of self-awareness, self-acceptance, finding the internal resources, and cultivating the multiple perspectives. Second, the experienced characteristics in the sandtray supervision were the atmosphere of freedom and security, the emotional catharsis, the concrete manifestation of non-verbal communication, the parallel process of learning, and the dynamic self-answered process. Third, the internship counselor’s self-efficacy in counseling had significantly increased after receiving the sandtray supervision. Finally, the discussion and implications of these findings, as well as recommendations for future research, were offered.
