Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 應用化學系 === 97 === In recent years, atomic force microscope(AFM) was widely used to study variety of materials and cells on its mechanical properties. Physical characteristics of living or non-living material, can be investigated by AFM. There are a number of different types of instruments for different studies. Therefore, this research was to use AFM to observe the topography and mechanical properties of cells in different environments, such as in air or in aqueous solution. In addition, the bare and modified probes were also used to analyze some characteristics by force curve. The particles which the size is similar to the cells were measured and compared its Young's modulus and mechanical properties with those of yeasts.
