Therefore, how to design a resource allocation algorithm that helps the OFDMA system to achieve the higher sum capacity and fairness among the users becomes the main purpose of this thesis. In this thesis, OFDMA subchannel and power allocation are discussed and proposes two methods modified suboptimal subcarrier allocation algorithm and low complexity iterative power allocation (IPA) algorithm which have been proved to achieve the same performance. Finally, we also propose a fairness index algorithm, using releases fairness deviation among users to achieve the high sum capacity.
