Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 電機工程學系 === 97 === This study aims to compare battery’s capacity and discharge characteristics between (AA) carbon-zinc batteries and (AA) alkaline batteries for electronic consumption products. Since most of the battery in the market do not indicate electrical capacity, this study conducts an electrical discharge experiment of 0.3A 0.5A, 0.8A and 1A on ten kinds of AA battery, which are brand S, En, Pa, Du, Ev, To, Mi, P1, Ta and PN to understand the capacity difference between (AA) carbon-zinc batteries and (AA) alkaline batteries. The result shows that alkaline battery contains more discharge capacity than carbon-zinc battery. Take 0.3A experiment as an example, alkaline battery discharge 2.5 times electrical capacity of carbon-zinc battery in AA battery. In terms of purchase cost, brand S alkaline battery contains 629.1(J) per NT dollar while brand Du with largest capacity contains 418(J) per NT dollar; brand Mi carbon-zinc battery contains 584.2(J) per NT dollar while brand Ta with biggest capacity contains 580(J) per NT dollar. Thus, alkaline batteries are more like to be applied for large loading, and carbon-zinc batteries are suitable for small loading and low discharg.
