碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 園藝學系研究所 === 97 === The purpose of environmental greening is applying the plant to improve and maintain the aesthetic beauty of environment and improve the life quality. It also reminds the community residents of cohesion. Furthermore, it improves environmental protection of local area and builds a living environment with safety, sanitation, health, and comfort. After decades of greening in communities, it is worth to investigate if the experience of environmental greening to residents were improved. The aim of this study is to investigate the attitude, participation and satisfaction of community residents on environmental greening. The memberships of Tainan Community Development Association were made use of the subjects of questionnaire survey. The descriptive Statistics is firstly used for the analysis of the variables of the questionnaire. Then the cluster analysis, the chi-square test, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson’s product-moment correlation on variables are performed by the needs of study purposes. The study results were as follows: 1)In biographical characteristic of community residents, level of education and occupation show a significant difference in the attitude of community environmental greening. Occupation shows a significant difference in the satisfaction of community environmental greening. 2)In environmental greening participation of community residents, the frequency of greening and the cluster of participation show a significant difference in the attitude of community environmental greening. The frequency of greening, the degree of planting participation, the type of planting participation, and frequency of maintenance show a significant difference in the satisfaction of community environmental greening. 3)In the attitude cluster of environmental greening of community residents include ecological orientation, self-emotions orientation and interflow orientation, the satisfaction of plant and environmental greening show a significant difference in the satisfaction of community environmental greening.
