Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 教育行政與政策發展研究所 === 97 === The research discusses opinions from students of Nan Kai University of Technology on teaching and service quality. The author analyzes literature reviews and develops discourses about meanings of service quality, implications of teaching service quality and relevant theory studies of teaching satisfaction. The study establishes five main models which influence on teaching and service quality: curriculum planning and design, instructional methods, teaching environment and climate, teaching equipments and quality, administrative service quality. The paper was conducted on students of Nan Kai University of Technology by questionnaire survey. A total of 710 questionnaires were issued. Within 699 questionnaires in return, 562 were evaluated as valid. All the data were analyzed with SPSS 12.0. The results and suggestions were listed as follow: 1. The Research Results: (1) There was no distinct discrepancy for students towards implications of teaching service quality. (2)Students of different gender had a distinct discrepancy on teaching and service quality and administrative service quality. (3)Students from different departments showed no distinct discrepancy of all structures toward teaching and service quality. (4) Students from different curriculum programs showed a discrepancy toward both instructors’ quality and teaching equipments and quality for. (5) Students from different faculties showed a distinct discrepancy on teaching and service quality with all structures, especially students from the college of commercial who were the members of the most dissatisfaction. 2. Suggestion (1) Curriculum planning and design should be more diverse and flexible. (2) Instructors should improve their own professionalism in teaching. (3) Communicative channels with students should be strengthened and broadened. (4) The teaching equipments should be enriched in order to improve teaching and learning quality. (5) Administrative officers should strengthen their in-service training so as to improve their service quality.
