This thesis describes the synthesis of colchicine derivatives from the advanced intermediate A1 by Morita-Baylis-Hillman reaction. To synthesize the derivative in the hope that can increasing the effect on gout and reducing the severe side effects.
The finding of a method to synthesize bromo-derivative A2 which can easily be displaced by nucleophiles, and facilitate the preparation of derivatives for the future.
