The research will design a EPC/uID Networks system to achieve the integration of application with operating principle, global standard, security model, technology of different country and the current situation of the standard development. Finally, use the design of EPC/uID Networks system to increase compatibility, convenience and dependability in the future of Ubiquitous computing environments. Summing up a result of the study, there are the following contributions: 1. Planning the structure and function of the EPC/uID Networks: In the research, the construction of the EPC/uID Networks is divided into three parts: The first part is using Code Gateway system to handle the Reader and Code Data which is read by UC (Ubiquitous Communicator); the second part is EPC Discovery Service and uID Discovery Service which can provide about inquiring information and control the movement of commodities; the third part is PIN-IC model, which can exercise the certificated model of the EPC scheme, and use the certificated card to sift the information of logistics. 2. Establishing the function model of the EPC/uID Networks: The research will comprehend which develop the functions and how to use of Code Gateway, EPC Discovery Service, uID Discovery Service, PIN-IC through the R & D of the EPC/uID Networks system. 3. Future use: The development in the future of the Ubiquitous computing environments, through the EPC/uID Networks, can make EPC and uID two main systems perfectly integrated, and realize the Ubiquitous computing environments perfectly.
