Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 觀光暨遊憩管理研究所 === 97 === This research is written in the ethno-methodological from to depict the researcher’s, my, memories and life experiences gained from the working holiday vacation in Australia, including self-reflection. I tried to find out what kinds of phenomena resulted from the working holiday vacation. For me, this trip was about to know myself, widen my horizons, and try to find out a homey atmosphere. The experiences gained in the workplaces in Australia and the things what I have learned from the process will be an important part in my whole life. However, the working holiday vacation is a present or a trap indeed? The concept of working when traveling kind of distorts Taiwanese youths’ imagination to the working holiday vacation. Besides, the shock brought by the cultural differences and many other reasons may also lead to enthusiastic backpackers’ nostalgia. I hope this research will evoke bring some thoughts and reflections to the authorities concerned and readers who concern about this issue. Or, by this research, the concerns about this new tourism phenomenon can be evoked in the academic field.
