From Feburary 2006 to Feburary 2007, We collected 39 benthic samples from littoral algae beds of Taiwanat 23 sites. We examined the specimens with SEM and recognized 20 species in 11 genera and three families, all new to Taiwan. These species are: Gitanopsis japonica Hirayama, 1983 of the Amphilochidae; Ampithoe hyalos Peart, 2007, A. platycera Sivaprakasam, 1970, A. ramondi Audouin, 1826, A. sectimanus Conlan & Bousfield, 1982, A. valida Smith, 1873, Cymadusa filosa Savigny, 1816, Paradusa mauritiensis Ledoyer, 1978, and Paragrubia latipoda Ren, 2001, P. vorax Chevreux, 1901 of the Ampithoidae and Aloiloi nenue Barnard, 1970, Corophium acherusicum Costa, 1857, C. triangulapedarum Hirayama, 1986, C. tridentium Hirayama, 1986, Gammaropsis (Gammaropsis) longiseta Ren, 2006, G. (G.) pali Barnard, 1970, Grandidierella gilesi Chilton, 1921, G. megnae (Giles, 1888), Kamaka littoralis Ren, 2006, and Megamphopus hainanensis Ren, 2006 of the Corophiidae.
