Drawing from its findings, the study also aims to offer specific suggestions for government education officials and school administrative and teaching staff to ponder as to how they might adjust the way they execute this policy for improved policy results. Using responsive evaluation methodology, this study assesses four aspects of the policy: the degree of achieving policy targets, the appropriateness of the policy design, the attitudes and willingness of policy executors, and the responsive feelings of the study's subjects. Documents such as interview records and diaries were reviewed to identify the demands, concerns, and complaints of the objects. This study used purposive sampling and nine people were selected as research subjects that represented county education officials, school administrators, school teachers, students, and parents. This study has identified four major findings towards its goals. 1. About the degree of achieving policy targets, this study found that students showed a heightened level of interest in studying and they became more active and positive about learning. This affirms that the Hand-in-Hand Plan After-School Support Policy of Miaoli County is instrumental in improving the students' grades. 2. As for the appropriateness of the policy design, this study found that the policy had been properly implemented with two caveats: Remedial work plans for students were rarely individually tailored to accommodate students' individuality and special needs and project funding was generally perceived as inadequate. 3. On the attitudes and willingness of policy executors, this study found that almost nobody showed a willingness to participate in the project during winter breaks and that there was some willingness for participation during summer breaks. Inadequate funding and inadequate level of teaching staff were the two most pressing issues that schools faced. This study found that the communication and coordination between school administrative and teaching staff was generally satisfactory. 4. Regarding the responsive feelings of the subjects, this study found that the willingness to execute the project procedures, design the curriculum, and stay with the project for another semester seems generally high. The respondents also generally hope to have more manpower, more flexible class frequency, take formality out of project evaluation, offer more lively teaching, and tending to students' physiological needs, allow students to have dinner before the class 顏國樑 學位論文 ; thesis 226 zh-TW
