Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立宜蘭大學 === 電子工程學系碩士班 === 97 === In recent years, the cartronics are very active and flourishing. It has gradually replaced some traditional automotive mechanical controllers, such as controlling power windows. These electronic controllers thus support rapid response with safety. This further makes that development of automotive control networks is indispensable. Based on this reason, in this Thesis, we attempt to design FlexRay-based communication network codec chip for automotive controller. The chip will support the static frame, dynamic frame, symbol signal, and wakeup signal facilities. In addition, for head check mechanism of signal frame in the decoder, we employ a step-by-step Bose-Chaudhuri-Hocquenghem (BCH) decoder to reduce its hardware complexity. The whole chip requires about 62.8k gates, and has a working frequency up to about 200 MHz synthesized by using TSMC 0.18µm CMOS technology, which has far more than the required working frequency of FlexRay. Power consumption of our chip is 668.6078 µW at 10MHz and 13.3722 mW at 200MHz.
