First, we derive an alternative of Adomian polynomial to approximate nonlinear operator. In this admissible polynomial, all possible terms are included to increase the computational accuracy. Second, we also develop an adaptive calculation procedure to extend the applicable range of Adomian decomposition method. Discrepancy between different terms is evaluated to determine the applied end location of a single Adomian method, which is employed as the starting point for a further decomposition. In this way, the simulation range can be significantly extended without deteriorating its accuracy. From the numerical results of some test examples, these modifications are verified to provide more accurate simulation in more extended computational range.
