Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 運籌管理所 === 97 === The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships among the characteristics and drivers of enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation, the impact of ERP implementation on financial performance, business intelligence (BI) systems implementation and BI related technology. Bayesian networks (BNs) approach is applied to construct the relationship framework for statistical inference. Empirical study is against the top 500 Taiwanese manufacturers. Based on the results of returned questionnaires and financial reports. Empirical results show that ERP implemented companies having better financial advantage if there have more supports from top management, more ERP implementation time and have selected either Data Systems or Oracle as their ERP vendor. In turn, sample companies adopt DW technique generally have better financial state. Results also indicate that more top management supports and VENDOR selection for Data Systems do not generally motivate ERP implemented companies to adopt BI systems. Surprisingly, BI implemented companies do not have financial advantage over the BI non-adopters. Meanwhile, these companies adopt DW technique and OLAP systems generally have motivated ERP implemented companies to implement BI systems. From the prediction inference, we find the TOP has a greater influence on SE than dose TIME. Meanwhile, the Data Systems vendor yield the largest probabilities of SE and Oracle vendor also yield the largest probabilities of ROA, ROS and ROI. At the same time, the DW also has a greater influence on PERF than dose DM and OLAP.
