Summary:碩士 === 高雄師範大學 === 工業科技教育學系 === 97 === The purpose of the study was to explore the general vocational competencies of Manufacturing Industry employees and to examine whether different variables of personal background, such as gender, age, education background and working position, may influence general vocational competencies of Manufacturing Industry employees.Questionnaire survey was used for this study.“General Vocational Competencies Questionnaire”was the study tool and 957 Manufacturing Industry employees in Changhua county and Changhua city were randomly sampled. After survey, 638 questionnaires were returned. Among them, 562 were effective. Based on analyses of the data, the following conclusions were reached: 1. Among all of the general vocational competencies of Manufacturing Industry employees , implementation of mission is the most influential one. 2. Manufacturing Industry employees pay highly attention on all factors of general vocational competencies. 3. There are no significant differences in overall general vocational competence between male and female Manufacturing Industry employees. 4. Manufacturing Industry employees in different age have significant differences in overall general vocational competence. 5. Manufacturing Industry employees of different educational background have significant differences in overall general vocational competence. 6. Manufacturing Industry employees with different working position have significant differences in overall general vocational competence. 7. Manufacturing Industry employees are moving toward younger and having high educational degree.
