Within the scope of our social resources of energy education, this outdoor teaching emphasizes on understanding NEG, and observes, whether or not under various learning environments, there are different learning effects and attitude towards NEG. Based on quasi experiment, this study included 65 subjects who were sixth graders from two classes of an elementary school in Kaohsiung Hsian, Taiwan. The experimental group was given an outdoor teaching, visiting a nuclear energy plant, whereas the control group received regular teaching at school. The research tool was questionnaire about understanding and attitude towards NEG designed by the writer. A pre-test and a post-test were directed to the two groups for analysis of quantifiable data in order to understand their learning variance and finally a post-test interview was given for further analysis. The results of this study are: 1.Both outdoor education and regular teaching are beneficial to students’ learning and understanding of nuclear energy generation. 2.With regards to NEG outdoor education is more effective than regular education. 3.Outdoor education and regular teaching make no difference in influencing students’ attitude towards NEG. 4.The learning behavior of the experimental group is more positive than that of the control group. Keywords: outdoor education, knowledge of nuclear energy generation, attitude toward nuclear energy generation Chang-Cheng Chen 陳長振 學位論文 ; thesis 211 zh-TW
