Summary:碩士 === 高雄師範大學 === 體育學系 === 97 === The purposes of this study were to explore the actual condition of elementary school middle-grade students’ attitude toward recreational sport and recreational sport participation in Kaohsiung City, and to analyze the relationship between attitude toward recreational sport and recreational sport participation. The results of the study were to provide references for the educational administration units in Kaohsiung City and further study. The questionnaire survey was used to acquire needed data. Questionnaire was administered to 698 school representatives, which were randomly selected from 87 elementary schools in Kaohsiung City. The data was analyzed and presented as descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson product-moment correlation. Findings from the analyses were summarized as follows: 1.The sex ratio of elementary school middle-grade students in Kaohsiung City was about 1:1; the majority grade wae 4-grade students; the majority scale of school was 24-48 classes; the majority score of the health and physical education field was excellent; the majority family circumstance was ordinary family. 2.The average scores of the 3 factors in attitude toward recreational sport were higher than 4, and showed slight variations. The average scores of the recreational behavior trend were M=4.15; The average scores of the recreational cognition were M=4.13; The average scores of the recreational affection were M=4.13 3.The average scores of the 3 factors in recreational sport participation were that the average scores of the recreational sport participating frequency were M=3.89; the average scores of the recreational sport participating duration were M=3.86; the average scores of the recreational sport participational types were M=3.24, and all of the 3 factors were lower than 4, not reaching“good”level showing that Elementary school middle-grade students in Kaohsiung City should be upgraded in recreational sport participation. 4.Elementary school middle-grade students with different backgrounds in Kaohsiung City did not reach obvious effect on recreational cognition and recreational affection; students with different genders, the scores of the health and physical education field and the scale of school reached obvious effect on recreational behavior trend. 5.Elementary school middle-grade students with different backgrounds in Kaohsiung City did not reach obvious effect on recreational sport participating frequency, but students with different backgrounds except for the score of the health and physical education field did not reach obvious effect on recreational sport participating duration; students with different backgrounds except for different genders and grades did not reach obvious effect on recreational sport participational types. 6.Elementary school middle-grade students’ attitude toward recreational sport has low impacts on recreational sport participation in Kaohsiung City.
