All the content makes the movie trilogy worth seeing, and it also leads a philosophy movement. The directors are effected by Japanese and American comics and animation. They also love philosophy. So we must focus on the studies of animation, religion and philosophy. The study started from the history of the culture, including the developing of animation, the semiology, the culture of cyberpunk, and the culture of the movies. After understanding the cause and effect, this study focus on the story line and visual sign of the matrix trilogy by semiology and narrative comprehension view point. The visual analysis includes: 1. Shape, 2. Color 3.Space and shot,4. Motion and time. The analysis of story line includes: 1. Object 2. Role. In addition, both analyses aim to find out: 1. The visual sign of the matrix trilogy, 2. The meaning of the text covered by the behavior of the characters. Lastly, the studies told us how to tell a philosophy story through the visual signs. It includes: 1. Knowing the culture background of the audience, 2. Based on the history of the movie culture, presents the visual sign that audience know so well. 3. By using intertextuality, makes the audience combine the visual experience together. 4. By making the visual signs correspond to the names of the roles, in order to awake the spiritualized clue. 5. Developing new visual presentation, in order to fascinate the audience. I believe that the controlling of visual signs, the enrichment of content, the using of spiritualized clue and hot subject will make the movie an enjoyable experience for the audience. It is also important to tell a moderate story. By knowing this well, one can clone the success of the matrix trilogy, and tell a good story of science fiction and cyberpunk style.
