And that’s the reason which “Liu Dui” comes from. “Liu Dui” was made roughly mainly on Pingtong area , while people built new community in Mei Nong after natural disasters and full population in Wu Luo Zhuang. What about Shan lin? The community there was established after the rapid increased population in Zhu Tou Bei in Mei Nong and Jiu Qiong Lin. However, there are few studies which discussed about Hakka community in Shan lin. Moreover, there are some people who don’t know where Shan lin is. They even don’t have any ideas that there is a Hakka community in that area, let alone the community belongs to Liu Dui. As to the abovementioned situations, Shan lin is the most northern Hakka township of Liu Dui, that is, it’s the border area of Liu Dui. At first, the enigma of establishment of Hakka village there was mixed with different races, and the relationship among each ethnic group is necessary to be studied. Later in Japanese Colonized Era, what are the differences and influence in Hakka village with the strong intervention under Japanese government’s power and capitalism? Therefore, I intend to do the study based on the reason, trying to figure out the origin and uniqueness of Shan lin, which is one of the townships in Liu Dui. This research is mainly studied in Hakka community in Shan lin, including the following Hakka village: Xin Zhuang, Shang Ping, Yue Mei, and Yue Mei. The methods of the study include the local historic documents, interviewing the current local residents and the elders, collecting old photos, household materials statistics, and observation, to interpret and write them down. This research is done through the historic documents and field study, and began to write from the background of the establishment of Hakka village in Shan lin. And then, we will talk about the order of developing each Hakka village. Afterwards, we will discuss the historical shifting of space and time. Besides, we will also talk about whether the history transition and religious belief are the factors of strong gathering intention and individual development is affected to expand or decline by Mei Nong Hakka community and political transition. Furthermore, we would introduce how the Hakka village in Shan lin is categorized as the sub location (sub dui) and connect it to the future breakthrough of Liu Dui. 吳中杰 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 151 zh-TW
