Summary:碩士 === 南開科技大學 === 福祉科技與服務管理所 === 97 === his study was aimed to investigate the relations among the elderly people’s living styles, involving degree in the health residence, and inclination of moving into the housing at Nantou area. The purposive sampling was made to the elderly population at Nantou district. The effective questionnaires were 318 out of 385 copies. Descriptive statistics, explorative analysis, t test, and one-way ANOVA were employed to analyze the data collected. The findings of the study showed the information of the personal data: females, elementary school graduates, married, being civil servants before retirement, common self-aware health condition, living with children, and 10,001-20,000 monthly income. Mean difference of the living styles showed that genders, educational degrees, marital status, and profession before retirement, self-aware health condition, living situation, as well as financial income were not significant. Furthermore, there was no significant difference in the involving degree of maintenance residence among genders, educational degrees, marital status, and profession before retirement, self-aware health condition, living situation, as well as financial income. Lastly, since findings showed that marital status was significant, Scheffe posteriori was employed. In overall cognition, married elderly (M=3.39) had a stronger inclination to move into the health residence compared to that of the elderly who lost their spouse (M=2.94).
