Facing the Megatrends of an ageing society, as in Taiwan, We will pose enormous challenges for all areas of society, including the economy and the social welfare system and especially human resource planning. There were rarely few research on exploring the elder volunteer's work values, relationship quality and continuous service. The main purpose of this study is to understand the influential factors related to the intention to continuous service for hospital volunteers and is to testify the causal model and the relationship of the variables such as work values, relationship quality and continuous service. The results can be served as a reference for the hospital institutions on the planning and directing of elder volunteers as well as proper utilization of elder volunteer resources. This study subjects are elder volunteers in hospital institutions in Taichung and Nantou. A total sampling number of 225 questionnaires are sent and 132 were replied with a recall ratio of 59%. This study conduct to testify the causal model using SPSS 10.0 and AMOS 4.0 package software. The main findings are: The volunteer's relationship quality had positive effect on one’s continuous service. The managers of hospitals can improve relationship quality to acquire elder volunteer's good relationship and continuous service.
