| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 中國語文學系 === 97 === Jian Zhen is a female essay writer in 1980’s. Her work involves worm contents and unique writing skills, which stands remarkable in Taiwan female essay composition. In the period of Jian Zhen’s composition, her families’ encouragement brought peaceful and support to her spirit. This study focuses on Jian Zhen’s essay topic – parental affection, and intends to explore her essay topic, her expressive writing, and to evaluate the value of essay composition by Jian Zhen in nowadays parental affection writing history. There are five chapters in this research:
Chapter 1 Introduction – Goal and purpose of this study; Literature review; The scope of the study and the structure of chapters.
Chapter 2 The literature perspective of Jian Zhen, and her procedure of composition and selected material. In terms of literature perspective, Jian Zhen views essay as a way of expressing thoughts and thinks highly of mental preparation. Her literature style differs from other writers, which always focus on people and what happens to them. During her composition, Jian Zhen initially wanted to express loneliness in adolescent, which became her most interests. Although she later got a job and became a mother, she still writes all the time. In her writing material, she describes people in different points of view, which show a remarkable style.
Chapter 3 The topic for Jian Zhen parental affection : The image of father-- a lonely lover; The character of mother-- a palace holding life; The strength of mother-- passing down affection; Brotherhood-- a strong feeling to unite family. In this chapter, the researcher intends to explore the interaction and influence between Jian Zhen and her parents, looking into the deep and warm affection, in order to realize her growing background.
Chapter 4 Ways of expression in the topic of parental affection – Vivid rhetoric; Transform dialogue of person; Integrate dialect and slang; Imagination of real and unreal. Examine Jian Zhen’s unique writing skills and art achievements in her typical essays.
Chapter 5 Conclusion. This chapter aims to summarize the contents and writing skills in the topic of parental affection, and to assert Jian Zhen’s reputation and value upon parental affection composition.
