碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 幼兒教育學系 === 97 === Young Children''s creative music and movement actitvities -- An Action Research Abstract The purpose of this study was to design a series of creative music and movement activities for children. The results were measured by observation and data analysis. Meanwhile, this research also expected to enhance teacher’s creative teaching skill. There are 4 questions in this study. 1. Did the music activities help inspire children’s creativity? 2. What were the difficulties when implementing the activities? 3. How to deal with the difficulties? 4. Is it possible to enhance teacher’s professional skill when implementing these activities? The 30 samples were children ranging from 4 to 6 years old in the researcher’s class. Data was analyzed with the help of “Children’s Creative Behavior Observation Record”、 “ Creative Music and Movement Activities Record Review” and“ Creative Curriculum Observation Form”, along with children’s learning worksheets and the co-observers’ suggestions. There are 4 conclusions in the survey. 1. The music activities really help children’s creativity. 2. With full understanding of children’s character, teachers can overcome the difficulties, and achieve the goal with the students. 3. Teacher’s professional skill was highly improved while practicing these activities. 4. Participation in the activities could help teachers theoretically and practically. Finally, many suggestions for teachers and future research are given in this study. Keywords: creativity, creative teaching, creative music activities for children
