To acquire the theoretical background as well as relevant information, questionnaire was used as the survey instrument for the data collection of the present study. The questionnaire mainly contained four parts: participants’ background information, coach leadership, peer relationship, and organizational commitment. Among the returned questionnaires, 52 copies turned out to be incomplete. Therefore, only 348 questionnaires were valid for the subsequent analysis in the present study. The accumulated data were calculated through the computer software package SPSS 12.0 for Windows, and analyzed with t-test, one-way ANOVA, Canonical correlation, and Pearson’s product moment correlation. The results of the study are as follows: first, volleyball players’ background variable (gender, grade, years of playing volleyball, the influence of practice frequency per week, group) was found to be significantly different among perceived coach leadership behavior, peer relationship, and organizational commitment. Second, volleyball players’ coach leadership, peer relationship, and organizational commitment were found to be significantly correlated. Third, a significant explanatory power was found on coach leadership and organizational commitment as well as peer relationship and organizational commitment.
