Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 教育行政研究所 === 97 === This paper conducts a case study with a qualitative method, based on the purposive sampling. Through document analyses and interviews, this study explores a principal’s role cognition, school management philosophy, administrative leadership, instructional leadership and management strategy utilization in campus planning and public relation. The data collected from the in-depth interviews are transcribed as the main themes. Additionally, documents related to the case study and gathered from informal interviews, observation and research reflections are used to support the findings. According to these data, the major conclusions of the study are as follows: 1. The principal develops school management strategies with wisdom and kindness and creates a learning cultivation and environment with creativity, art, and humanities. 2. The principal spreads the leadership style with enthusiasm and with being a role model to all the staff and teachers. 3. The principal observes teaching demands and voluntarily supports and co-participates the curriculum planning, and establishes a learning organization that involves creativity and active learning. 4. The principal establishes correct concepts of teachers’ professional development evaluation, carries out gradually in a relationship of trust. After evaluation, the principal takes the reflection and application seriously to promote teachers’ self expertise and teaching quality. 5. The principal creates the campus mainly for learning and forms the campus with arts and humanities, creativities, and local culture. So the campus becomes a space where the teachers, students, and the community members can use and learn. 6. The principal pays equal attention to interior and exterior marketing in order to demonstrate the educational performance and obtain approval and supports from parents and the community. 7. The principal collects multiple school fundings, makes a good use of the community resources, and flexibly uses the teaching facilities and activities in the campus.
