Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 教育行政研究所 === 97 === The purpose of the study is to explore the actual condition of the school internal public relations and the teacher’s work morale in the elementary schools in Pingtung County, as well as the differences and relations about the former and latter. In order to achieve the objective of the research, the research method which I adopted is questionnaire survey and the main instruments used are “School Internal Public Relations Quantity” and “Teacher’s Work Morale Quantity” table.
The subjects of the study are the present official teachers of the public elementary schools in Pingtung County, Taiwan, R.O.C. The samples are divided in layers of conception and based on the scale and district of the schools. There are 522 questionnaires by mails and 512 ones are retrieved and 506 of them are available. The rate of retrieve is up to 98.08%.
The results are analyzed by means, standard deviations, t-test , one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, multiple stepwise regression analysis, etc. The results are as follows:
1. The condition of elementary school internal public
relations is beyond the average level, and the
interaction between members is preferential.
2. The common communication ways of information are
through the administrative conference, the
administrative meeting, and the enlarging
administrative meeting of the school, etc.
3. The condition of the teacher’s work morale is beyond
the average level, particularly, job involvement is
better.
4. The senior teachers, directors, and the teachers in
small-scale
and remote-district schools have higher perception of
administrative decision.
5. The directors and teachers in small-scale and remote-
district
schools have higher perception of organizational
identification.
6. The higher the school internal public relations is, the
better the
teacher’s work morale is.
7. The quality of the members’ interaction has the
greatest
influence on the teacher’s work morale.
According to the researching results, The researcher propose some suggestions for school administrations, teachers and the researchers in the future , and they can be the references of improving school internal public relations and the teacher’s work morale .
I. Suggestions for school administrations.
1.Hold more friendship activities and expand to
participate in the administrative decisions for
improving the relations of members’ interaction well
and the teacher’s work moral.
2.Utilize various channels of dissemination and pay
attention to the informational feedback to develop the
coordinating and communicating functions and promote
the teacher’s morale.
3.Strengthen the strong senses of organizational
identification and cohesiveness for improving the
teacher’s work moral.
II. Suggestions for the elementary teachers.
1.The senior teachers can offer their experiences and
help the younger teachers.
2.The teachers of the large schools participate in
exchange activities more.
3.Teachers participate in administrational works
actively, in order to promote the organizational
identification.
III. Suggestions for the studies in the future.
1.Expand a full range of the studies and increase the
samplesto improve the results of the studies
effectively.
2.Expand the subjects of the studies, including
principals, staffs, janitors and students etc. That
will be sensible and realistic.
3.The quality advanced will be much more realistic about
the studies.
