In the past, for those who lived on cropland in the agricultural society, “leisure” has been a luxurious activity. However, as the time goes, the social pattern has transformed from traditional agricultural society to a diverse society. The diverse life styles make people pay more attention to daily leisure activities. In addition, the government implemented two-day weekend policy. Therefore, how to choose an appropriate leisure activity becomes more important. This research is to confer and analyze the leisure education contents in the present primary school’s social science study textbooks. The purpose of this study is to find out if the textbooks convey the proper knowledge in order to help students further understand righteous leisure concepts. This research adopted Content Analysis method and use “Leisure Education Concept Classification” as the study tool. After analyzing various versions of social science study textbooks, the findings are: 1. in the middle and high grades of primary school, there are more leisure education contents in the middle grades’ textbooks; 2. when comparing three versions of textbooks, Nani version mentions more leisure education; 3. in these versions of textbooks, there’s rarely a special article discussing leisure education, and hardly any special paragraph or chapter either; 4. if we categorize the contents related to leisure education in these versions of textbooks by the research worker’s classification, the contents are mainly and mostly related to the subject of “leisure resources”. In summing up the above analysis, the researcher has some suggestions towards writing, and research participants. 1. Teachers should have criticized ability to the textbook. 2. Teachers themselves should have proper leisure accomplishment. 3. To integrate with other subjects. 4. Textbooks should add the contents of leisure criticized ability. 5.
