Two critical design concepts are proposed, one is the application of diffraction optical elements on the encapsulation surface of LED, and the other is the focusing performance and improves the illumination. The latter, a redesign of asymmetric LED base, can ignore the need of optical shield, and simplify the design and reduce energy loss. In this simulation, the optimization of the design for single LED is first investigated. The arrangement of optical devices in the individual module of single LED is then established. Furthermore, single reflector, lens and LED base are employed to overcome the complexity of assembly for the integrated module array. Finally, a real model of single LED module is fabricated to verify the simulation results.
