Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 車輛工程系所 === 97 === This thesis is focused on parameter design of scooter micro-hybrid power system. The study is mainly based on the property of the scooter on a driving mode measured from driving in Pingtung city, Taiwan. Integrated with an idle-stop-and-go strategy, the system provides a small amount of power to assistant the internal combustion engine (ICE) of the scooter for its start and acceleration operations. The purposes are mainly on improving fuel consumption and reducing exhaust emissions. The works include design of power management strategy, design of system parameters, and performance evaluation. The study was preceded by firstly design a power assistant system as well as the associated power management strategy for the scooter. Then key parameters that affect the scooter performance were studied through numerical simulations and experiments. Finally, the designed system was implemented on a 125cc scooter. Its performance in reducing scooter ICE fuel consumption and exhaust emissions were evaluated on a chassis dynamometer based on the measured city driving mode. The experimental results have shown that, with a small portion of assistant power to the ICE of the scooter, the designed system can improve the fuel consumption rate up to 22.5% compared with the original scooter on the city drive mode.
