Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 車輛工程系所 === 97 === The main function of vehicle suspension system is to absorb the vibration energy from uneven roads. This thesis is focused on energy recovery suspension system (ERSS) that is expected to control the damping force of the system while transform the kinetic energy into electric energy. In contrast to traditional design with a hydraulic damper, the proposed ERSS adopts a rotary-type electric generator as the damper. By controlling the generating current, the generator not only offers an adequate amount of damping force to the suspension system, but also transforms the kinetic energy into electric energy. The purpose of this thesis is to develop a design and evaluation procedure for the ERSS, under constrains of mechanical working space and characteristics of the generator. From the numerical simulation results, the design system can achieve high performance in terms of vehicle body acceleration, tire deformation, and recovery electric energy.
