Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 資訊管理系所 === 97 === University course timetabling problems have been inspired and interested by many researchers for more than a decade. However, due to various different version of course timetabling problems exist, there is no appropriated solution or computation model available to solve these problems successfully. To solve the university course timetabling problem involves how to distribute limited resources, such as teachers, students, curriculums and classrooms allocation. Moreover, because the environment of each university may with various different hard constraints and soft constraints for course timetabling, it causes the course timetabling problem very complicated. This thesis employs dynamic course strategic factors and Tabu search to model the automatic course timetabling system and tests with three different scale universities to confirm the model. According to the experimental results, the proposed scheme can effective and efficient to solve the course timetabling problems, and it may enhance the teaching quality and efficiency for several different kinds of universities.
This thesis develops a course timetabling system with characteristics of generalization, integrity, practicality, simplification and flexibility. In addition, the proposed system module is possessed of low coupling strength and high cohesive force, making the course timetabling with good quality. Furthermore, the interface of the presented system may increase user-friendly feature and reduce the system operational barriers by Web, and then it can reduce the burden of related staffs to employ course timetabling task and improve the teaching quality for universities.
