Persistent breast-feeding experience in nursing women after postpartum mastitis

碩士 === 國立台北護理學院 === 護理研究所 === 97 === We adopted qualitative research method, to the phenomenological point of view, through semi-structured interview guidelines, one on one with the object of study, in-depth interviews for data collection. The study objects were 10 breast-feeding women who suffered from mastitis within half-year after child birth. The data analysis was performed by the steps of Colaizzi. In our study, the data was collected from 10 nursing women. There are seven main life-experience during the period of persistent breast-feeding : 1. Identified the advantage of breast-feeding 2. Breast-feeding is not as simple 3. In the discomfort physical and mental situation 4. Do everything possible to confront and deal with the problem of breast-feeding 5. Breast-feeding is a family problem 6. Take pride in their own after suffering ending 7. Gain experience and tips in practice The aim of this study would help the staff of healthcare system to provide these women individuality and uniqueness of the care strategy, especially when they suffered from mastitis.
