Through the multi-disciplinary cooperation between nursing staff and caregiver to determinate the feasibility of distance video caring model in disability welfare institute and the influence on the caregiver’s health care knowledge. This study uses a qualitative, multiple case study design. Researchers directly observe each event in a natural condition and try to inspect happenings integrally and connectively. The results of this study are the followings: 1. For the application of distance video caring model in residential disability institute: A. Long distance video equipment is needed by these institutes and the care model has positive contributions. 2. Summing up this study influence on related night shift caregiver’s related health care knowledge, behavior and attitude: A. Influence on the caregiver’s health care knowledge ~ Night shift caregivers are more sensitive to the abnormal skin condition. They can describe the health care problems more definitely. They can document the health care problem more completely. They are more familiar with the application of antibiotic ointment. B. Influence on the caregiver’s health care behaviors: Besides they can describe the wound condition more precisely, they also develop an ability to compare the variation of abnormal skin conditions. They also discuss with night shift nurse to design the document tables fitting with the working requirement. C.
