The need for an early childhood education resource website for kindergarten teachers is also investigated. This study compared early childhood education resource website content and the website needs of kindergarten teachers. A questionnaire and website content analysis were employed for this study. The subjects were 32 early childhood education resource websites and 433 kindergarten teachers from Taipei City and Taipei County. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The finding were as follows： 1. The most popular strategy was to use the Internet to search for information on early childhood education resources by kindergarten teachers. Information was readily found on the Internet. 2. The kindergarten teachers were interested in resource downloads, data search, relative data links and the latest resource notices. The early childhood education resource websites provide the function for the needs of kindergarten teachers. 3. Kindergarten teachers demand eight instructional resources from early childhood education resource websites. Early childhood education resource websites only provide teaching materials and articles for teachers. 4. The website needs of kindergarten teachers are various and numerous; including five dimensions: instructing, counseling, child-care, professional growth, administration, (totaling 17 items). Kindergarten teachers are not satisfied with early childhood education resource websites.
